I WANT THESE NOW!- Supra Aoki Strapped

Well I know these are obviously a men’s sneaker but I already asked my boyfriend if he wanted them and he said they weren’t for him. I’m sorry but I think these would look totally great on me! The new Aoki Strapped for Supra… Steve Aoki being one of the DJs that I LOVE! I love Supra and have for a long time… all of the Chad Muska signature Skytop sneakers especially. It says these are available at Kitson Men, American Rag and Greyone, but in searching really hard to find a pair for myself I have had no luck! If anyone out there knows where I can get my hands on some of these pleassssse let me know!

Red Carpet Winners – 2007 Emmys

Here are the red carpet winners…or there stylists at least deserve their pay checks.

Katherine Heigl wore this elegant Zac Posen gown beautifully! Hair is perfect, skin perfect, make-up is perfect…red lipstick was spot on! This silhouette is all her her her, you go girl!

Okay so I love this Reem Acra red gown… it’s totally Halston inspired and anything Halston inspired…is a winner! Ali Larter of the show Heros looked great… very naturally beautiful and totally yummy in red!

I’m gonna give Eva Longoria a yes because even if she was the only one that wore a cocktail length dress, all this gold sequins is enough for me to give this glamor girl look an A!

Oh No She Didn’t – 2007 Emmy DONTS

2007 Emmy’s took place last night with some deserving winners …and losers. Yay for Jeremy Piven’s win …gosh I love him! Of course we had our share of winners and losers on the red carpet as well…some were dressed by a talented stylist…some were just dressed…. and some got dressed in the dark? Heres a look as some shames… hmmm…

Kyra Sedgwick annoys the crap out of me with that fake accent on that show of hers. My grandmother loves her and I painfully watch it with her until my ears bleed. What the hell was she thinking with this Oscar de la Renta no no, bad shape and baddd fringe….this isn’t a funeral people lets see some color!

Ut-0h Hayden got into the drugstore bronzer again…someone call her mother please! Hayden Panettiere needs to kill her stylist because this is a mess! I feel like there might be a midget family hiding under there or something… maybe a big fat preggers belly…. but no… Marc Bouwer did this gown and I think it might look better on someone taller and maybe older… she should just stick to the sluttier dresses she usually wears…

Jenna Fischer stole the drapes from a local motel right before the show…rapped them around herself one too many times and tied a shitty bow…my grandma can do better then that. I’m all for an empire waste but…no body is doing it right!

NOMIS — Love

Simon Chamberlain’s brand Nomis has been around for like 2 years now I think? A lot of the stuff is really nice. I like both the guys and girls stuff, the graphics are cool and from what I own the stuff seems to be very nice quality. My boyfriend picked me up some nice stuff last year and I love it and I want moreee! Check out these diggs….

This jacket is stretch twill and yes it does stretch. It has satin lining, and an adjustable belt, the hood is my perfect size hood…and it has pockets…and I love pockets. Every time I wear this jacket I get compliments and it looks amazingggg on!

The hoodies are 80% cotton and 20% Poly Fleece they are super comfy and super warm! Another thing I love about this stuff is the fit… maybe its just me but I think they got the womens sizing spot on.

Don’t forget you man… The mens stuff…is cute…fun…and warm…so you can wear it to! My boyfriend said the sizing for men is perfect just big enough…he likes his stuff big. The Freitag Bag

So recently came across the supposed new big thing (that I had never heard of) called the Freitag Bag. I guess it is more popular in Europe but keep your eyes open because we may be seeing a lot more of them soon. It all started with two bike-riding designers who lived next to a truck route in Zurich. So the idea was to create these messenger bags from truck tarpaulins, bicycle innertubes, car seat belts and used airbags. That sounds pretty cool to me… all these things are totally waterproof and totally unique! Some even still have a little dirt on them, a little something that didn’t come of in the high powered wash they receive.

They have a lot of different styles of bags…for men and women. They also have a lot of unique designs and colors. Shopping online at there website was actually quite difficult. It seems easier to look up local shops that sell them and go there. I found this one at CITE in NYC.

Baby Phat Overnight Bag… LOVES IT

Never was the biggest Baby Phat fan but over the past few years I’ve been starting to like it…. I think I have always had a bad perception of the brand, and in realizing that Kimora Lee Simmons is indeed FABULOUS I’m now becoming a fan. On the Tyra show we saw some looks that were actually really cute…and there was also this bag that I was like “I MUST HAVE THAT!” Since I love big bags, and I love bling blang and everything in between here…you go!

Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmions’ fall “Overnight” bag… was $175 and is now miraculously on sale for $89.99, I am wantingggg it! Check out the rhinestone studded padlock…loves it! Anything that doesn’t have the cat/dog Baby Phat logo all over it….is actually cute! & there SS08 line actually wasn’t bad at all….

Check out the website to pick one up yourself…and maybe something else you never know! I think the KLS line is much nicer then Baby Phat but if you have never really been interested in Baby Phat I think you should go look around because you may just find something you like… BABY PHAT

NY Fashion Week! Nicholai SS08

Okay so fashion week was crazzy! For all of you that live in New York… you know that this is the best week of the year! Lots of shows & lots of parties! I am going to blog about Nicholai first because I actually got the opportunity to attend this show.

Nicky Hilton is known as an heiress with no talent, she had a t-shirt jean type line in the past, and a purse line that did quite well. I have to say I wanted to go to this show because I wanted to see what she was made of and if she did have any real talent at all. I feel that so many people want her to fail because she’s a Hilton, but I think she will succeed.

The scene was set upon walking in…front row sat Russel Simmons, her lovely parents, Richie Rich, and Travis Rain. I have to say being in the same room as Richie and Travis got me excited…because I absolutely love them! The backdrop was white with a light blue NICHOLAI plastered in the middle and silver ribbons surrounding the entrance. Off the bat, the setting promotes fun! And fun is what my style is all about! The music was well mixed I for one was dancing in my place…nothing wrong with a Kanye and Electro mix!

First look green bikini, onto a yellow short jump suit, and an orange party dress. Beehive hair or more mod hair long straight and maybe a perfect bang. We are already on a bright note with colors which is great for Spring/Summer. As for now yes I could purchase any of these things off the rack at the local H&M… Fourth look was a black and white short with the minimal jacket, loved it!

Following were some interesting shalls, cute summer cocktail dresses, and that one print that I didn’t really love. The 11th look was my 2nd favorite, we are starting to see her love for bling. I’m loving this cut-off airy jacket and you know you would see those sequenced hot pants all over the summer nightlife scene.

Moving on the next metallic trench coat was cute and I love that she is taking the metallics to a whole new level and implementing a variety of color. The midnight blue bomber jacker and short look was cute and the 15th look to go down the runway was easily one of my favorites. You cant go wrong with hot pink and bright orange with a little fringe. I love this dress. There was then a second metallic bomber jacket and short look but in a forest green, and this was fabulous.

Next she did some average bikinis and some fun sequenced tops…good for going out and such. Then we were back into the cocktail dress which I think she executed beautifully. Check out the detailing on the bottoms of the yellow and blue dresses…so fun! And the best part about a lot of her dresses was that the detail in the back of the dress was just as exciting as the front! If not more exciting! I am a sucker for a sexy back.

I’m Not Sure About Tyra… The Tyra Banks Show NYC

Is Tyra Banks really all she’s cracked up to be? Is she really this wild fun loving lady we all think she is? Read on for my opinion….

So, today me and three of my best friends spent 5 grueling hours at the Tyra Banks Show. Yes, we signed up for it and yes we all willingly went but I think I can speak for all of us when I say, we didn’t get what we expected.

The personality that Tyra Banks displays is loud, obnoxious, fun, exciting….you name it….Tyra just looks crazy and fun (sometimes annoying). We expected her to be all she hypes her self up to be from her craziness on ANTM and her 3 seasons of talk shows. We were unfortunately to say seriously disappointed. They tell you to arrive at the show by 10am at the latest and to dress “business upscale”. We arrived at 9:30 not wanting to be late since they implement terror in ticket holders through e-mail and make it seem like a big deal if your not there by 10. We were greeted by of course employee attitude…yes yes that’s their job..sure. We stood there in line probably until 10:30…eventually they starting letting people in by lines. Went through security…the whole shh-bang and took our seats in the presumed “green room” which looked like a shelter home…. I mean don’t worry I wasn’t expecting any glamor I’ve been to shows before…I’m just describing it as best I can.

We sat in the uncomfortable banquet hall chairs for what seemed like more than an hour or until we couldn’t feel our butts anymore…nor our toes…because we were wearing our “business upscale” heels. In sitting here for what seemed like a year…we were able to take in the fact that about 1/5 of this large crowd, that continued to grow, was actually following this “strict dress code”. Some people were just awful… and let me warn you I get bitchier when I’m aggravated and boy was I ever aggravated. My friends said they probably try to scare people into dressing good in the e-mail so that people will try their hardest and they’ll end up getting a crowd thats dressed some where on the middle of the scale…yeah sure whateverrr.

Not So Good – VMA 07 DONTS

No Shana No… I’m not a Shana hater but what is that?? Travis can wear whatever the fuck he wants and I will love him… and PS I love this couple and there love/hate relationship!!

I so love Kat Von D but we’ve seen this outfit before… it looks like she just woke up and was like shittt i forgot I gotta go to the VMAs grabbed something outta her closet and ran…this was an opportunity for her to impress us right!? I doubt she cares about impressing anyone… but it seems lately the world is in love with her and she should have taken that as a good chance to show off he shitttt….

Cee-lo…what is this the guy from the matrix… an unattractive man… in an unattractive outfit… two no goods!

Ewwww stop it… I’ll pretend I didn’t see this.. I’m not the biggest Nelly Furtado fan and this made it worse…. wide leg pant suit = no no no… and her hair is nottt doing it for me… she looks like she got in a fight with some sun-in!

Audrina…. good… Whitney… looks out-a-control amazing… Lauren… mmm fine…. the dress is from her own line I guess that will be coming out soon, she has been looking good lately so she should show it off her figure more! The dark red lip stick is drowning out the rest of her face….no no no
